We teamed up with our friends at Metro Ontario for a Canada Day fish-travaganza! Alongside our saucy pals at Humble & Frank who make the perfect pairing for every fish dinner. All available at your local Metro store.
Ingredients
Fish
- 2x Springhills trout fillets
- 1x Humble & Frank Miso Sesame Sauce
- 2 Reserve Cedar Planks (soaked for minimum 2 hours)
- Pepper
- Sesame seeds
Slaw
- ½ Head of Napa Cabbage
- ½ Head of Red Cabbage
- 1 Red Pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
- 4 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- Pepper
- Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Preheat grill to 400F and place cedar planks onto grill side by side. Place fillets skin down onto planks. Brush generously with sauce and close grill for 8 minutes.Â
- Open and sprinkle pepper (to taste) and sesame seeds onto fillets. Close and cook for another 4-6 minutes.
- For the slaw, chop cabbage and pepper into long thin slices. Add wet ingredients and season with pepper, mix and add sesame seeds to garnish.
